Discuss all you want, but don't get butthurt when someone doesn't like your bike.

    My current bikes-

    '81 Honda CB650 Custom
I've had this bike since '00. It was my grandfather's until his death in '86, it was stored in the garage until '00 when it was given to me. I've put a good 18,000 miles on it since then, along with a 4-1 exhaust, jet kit, K&N filter. I rode this until mid '08 when I decided tI wanted a bigger bike, something I could stretch out on.

    '73 Honda CB750
I bought this with my stimulus check last year. I had wanted a bigger motor, bigger bike that didn't make me feel cramped, and a kickstarter. This bike was all 3. I turned over 20,000 miles last year after replacing both tires, battery, recovering the seat, and doing some carb work. Early last winter we had a break in the weather so I went for a day ride, and it started on the first kick. Now i am wondering how hard it will be to start after sitting for 3 months, considering my 650 is nearly impossible to start in the spring.

Next weekend I will be picking up a third bike, a '00 cbr 600. Not this particular bike, but one just like it.

I am off the streets in my old age ... and only riding dirt now.

    ry%3D400

The kid is riding a TTR50, for now. He has just about outgrown it. I'll probably have to get him something bigger in the spring.

I am riding a WR250F. My bike is a 2005 so I am about ready for a new one. Kinda been holding out for a fuel injected Honda CRF250X. I thought the '09 Honda was going to be fuel injected, but it is not. Guess I'll wait another year.

    I no longer own it,
    it was the fastest,
    the scariest,
the most fun toy I ever had the pleasure of selling BEFORE I hurt myself with it!
I have NO willpower and it was just TOO much fun!
GOD I hate gettin' older and hopefully smarter!

Scout, nice rides. I have a 1980 CB 750 F that i bought several years ago. I have it apart at the moment, rebuilt the carbs and now have to clean the tank and repaint as the guy before me used "Creem" in the tank and it is coming off inside.
This pic is before the rebuild.

I am also repairing a 2000 F4 for the family of a faller rider at the moment. It is a track only bike. But I have redone all the damage to the hard parts from the accident and now have to paint the body work. Nice a ver capable bikes, but the carbs are a PITA.

And then the bike that I ride on the track
    2005 GSXR 600
    Ohlins suspension
Weight is marginal at 375 full of fuel ready to hit the track
    BMC race filter
    PC3 with custom map
    Manual cam chain tensioner
    bla bla bla

This what it looked like in 2006 when I brought it home.

I had to get rid of my bikes. I blew out both shoulders, so no more bikes for me. But I have had several. Not sure if I have pics of them or not. I'll have to look. Started riding on bikes when I was two with my dad in 1963. That was a Triumph 650. I have a picture of that somewhere. Here is a list of my bikes I have owned. I know a dirt bike or two is missing from this. I tried to put them in order of how I had them.

    1- 1970 Honda SL 350 (Yep I was 9 when I started riding this in 1970.)
    2- 1970 Kawasaki 500 triple
    3- 1972 Kawasaki 750 triple
    4- 1973 Kawasaki 750 triple
    5- 1973 Kawasaki 500 Triple
6- 1978 Kawasaki KZ 400 ( rode this back from Orlando in less then 24 hours)
    7- 1978 Suzuki GS 750
    8- 1978 Hodaka 250
    9- 1977 Bultaco 350 flat track bike
    10- 1978 Kawasaki KZ 650
    11- 1978 Kawasaki KZ 900
    12- 1980 Kawasaki KZ 1300
    13- 1982 Kawasaki 1100
14- 1987 Harley 1200 Sportster (custom show bike)
15- 1996 Harley Ultra Classic Touring bike
    16- 2008 Polaris RZR (800 cc's of whoop ass!)

    Me on my 1996 Ultra
    ME.jpg

1987 Sporty custom. Way too much chrome to polish.

What the heck... I'll jump in here. Not a track guy but the skills those folks learn on the track probably makes them superb riders. Me? I'm just dodging folks on 465 from Fishers to 465/71st commute to the tune of about 8k/yr. :)

First bike after into riding again in 2007.

83 CX650 Honda - I sold it to a friend after riding it for a year.

I also have a Triumph 675. Slipper clutch, Penske triple, Zard full system, PCIII w/ map among other things.
Haven't ridden it yet. Converted it to a track bike and just haven't been able to get it out yet. I'm probably going to put it back into street form since track time is gonna be scarce this season. Damn shame, since I've beaten on 675s before, and they're the best handling track bikes I've ever ridden.

    PAST BIKES

Greatest streetbike I ever owned (Surprisingly good trackbike too! runs A pace on street tires easily enough. Get killed on the long straight at Putnam, but rocked in the back section) I nearly cried when I sold that one. :(

GSXR-750 that I lovingly called the "Stupid Gixxer" Great bike, don't really miss it though.

Duc 749R track bike. I miss that one.

Hammer, your Gixxer looks really, really familiar....I think we may have met at some point

I believe we have. I mostly ride with some of the smaller groups at Putnam, Curvechasers, cycle options and Desmo. I have been going there since 04', that is when I trashed the 954.

Here is a pic that one of my buddies took this past year of me.

BTW you gonna make it down to Bluegrass this year? supposed to be a nice track.

Here is another of my old rides.
Hard to believe it has been 25 years since this thing was ****!
A set of slip-ons a jet kit and it ran 150mph on top end and low 11's in the quarter.
    That was fast....................then.

I've got an 02 Softail Deuce that is pretty much chromed out and now sits in the garage. Since having my son, I don't make it much of a priority to ride anymore. Gotta find some pics. She's a purple Harley!

Sportbike Track Time - Get on the right track !! 419-822-0350

    There ya go!

Track days are awesome. You'll meet hundreds of really cool people, very friendly atmosphere, and the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
Riding on the street is great, but isn't even close to track riding. No cops, no tickets, no light poles waiting to decapitate you, no ditzy soccer moms yapping away on their cell phones trying to take you out. Just you, the bike, and the track.
When you get that thing flung over with you knee on the deck and your elbow skimming the grass (see avatar), its the most unbelievable feeling in the world.
