I've had a bench shooting setup for a few years. Decided this fall to start clearing out dead ash trees and brush to make a defensive distance shooting area. I've been slacking now that it's getting colder but once spring comes around I'm back to work getting this more civilized.

I’m so jealous I can’t handle it! How lucky you are to have this range in your own backyard. All I can say is: You work hard in life-you deserve it! Congratulations!

Hope you have an in for treated lumber, that looks pricey, but very nice. We were fortunate enough to have a natural sloping area we dug up and built a 10 Foot horse shoe berm.

It is a bit pricey at times but even if I'm not shooting I'm down there every day (when it's 40 or above).
It'll be a great place to get out of the house and hang out. LOL it is already! And the wildlife... Deer, coyote, hawks, eagles, owls, my gal pal saw a bobcat cross the road a couple weeks ago. Incredibly cool place to be

Wow! I didn't think there are any wild bobcats left in Indiana

Very nice! I've always wanted a place where I can build a range but alas - that opportunity has not yet arisen.
Thank you. I miraculously (in retrospect) fell into this property 40 years ago as a rental. Had the opportunity to purchase it many years later and have been slowly developing it's potential (according to me) ever since. Hopefully your opportunity will avail itself soon!
