You are doing the same thing by limiting input to directly observed phenomena. Many today do not know of anyone who has had polio, smallpox, malaria, Fryn's Syndrome, or numerous other pathological conditions. I am not aware of any person that I have known to later die in a plane crash. I am not aware of any person that I know personally who has an AR style of rifle. Should I assume no one owns one?

The official CDC statistics paint quite a different picture. But they never look those up, since it contradicts the preferred narrative.

The past 3 years have completely convinced me that the governmental and academic institutions which are usually trusted to gather and present such statistics have monetary and philosophical agendas of their own.

If there were a statistic that a majority of cases were a particular type as they claim, that fact would observable by the everyday person among the cases they were familiar with.

Otherwise, it'd be irrelevant to the average citizen in the first place.

Of all the adolescents I've known that have died, the only case involving firearms was policeman as murder victim and adolescent as suicide after the fact.
