We have had a few Husky pieces through the years. Waaayyy back in the hot rod dirt bike days their bikes ruled the woods we frequented. They had a distinct sound and handled well.You make a good point. I'll change my vote Husqvarna. We should support any 2a related businesses when able. I have a husqy chainsaw, it doesn't like to run very often though.. another reason I picked the MS250.
I'm not awake enough and too indecisive, go with your gut feeling..
Trees to cut...lots of trees to cut...
Husqvarna 440e or Stihl MS250?
An 18" should be perfect. There is a 24" chainsaw available for larger jobs.
My neighbor needed to borrow my husqy last year because his blew a hole in the piston. He couldn't get mine to run for more than 3 -4 cuts. He went and bought a Stihl the next day. He heats with wood so he needed a good saw. The Husqvarna is still sitting in my shed since he gave it back. Was saving it to make a boat anchor someday.We have had a few Husky pieces through the years. Waaayyy back in the hot rod dirt bike days their bikes ruled the woods we frequented. The key to having a reliable saw is good fuel, proper storage and ether starting fluid.
Stihl seems to be a favorite among folks I know that cut wood.
He ran his too lean to make power. That will eat a piston PDQ.My neighbor needed to borrow my husqy last year because his blew a hole in the piston. I do agree with you on that Husqvarna make one badass dirt bike.
Will do. Yes it has pretty good compression and newish plug. To be honest I gave up on it, I picked up a corded electric and a Milwaukee cordless. They're not major cutters but for what I use them for they work pretty good. Next will be the polesaw attachment for my Milwaukee weedeater. My days of cutting wood are mostly over. Thank God my son is a tree trimmer/cutter now. If it's more than a couple small cuts I call him.He ran his too lean to make power. That will eat a piston PDQ.
Run the checks on yours. Clean AF. Fresh good no ethanol fuel. Fresh plug.
Does it have enough compression
Stihl MS261...4bhp vs 3bhp for the MS250. Same size package in the professional grade. Think 10mm vs 40. It will cut.
Nickname = Termite Jr.Morning folks.
Here’s a bright Tuesday morning pic for y’all. Funny story… Family tale and jokes have always been that I used to chew on wooden furniture when I was her age…. Apple don’t fall far…
