John Benner is ex-Army and a retired cop. I found him to be very down to earth and sincere in his concern for students. I've taken more than one handgun course there and would not hesitate to go again.

Just for the record, the search function is your friend. I believe we have previously discussed the merits of TDI.

Having said that, I have no first hand experience with them, but many of their students I have met over the years seem to be well trained and proficient. I think that speaks well of their programs.

I have taken several classes with TDI. I don't always agree with what they are teaching, but they do have a quasi-unique system that they have developed and it is much better than what many other schools are teaching.

TDI is also a good option for people not wanting to travel far for quality training.
