    It's a handgun dovetail sight remover/installer. You stick the slide in and crank away. This will make HGC's life a lot easier. Well worth the $$$. :)

    Be careful, some guns like the S&W M&P line have some fairly deep rail guides milled into the slide. If you apply too much tension to the slide you can end up breaking the slide.

    Other than that, that is a great tool, just be careful.

    Next questions; Is that the industrial strength model? Will it work on my Kimber? They are noted for being extremely tight fitted.

    I was gonna run the gun up north, but a local guy would be handy in the event any fine tuning would be necessary.

    I removed sights on a S&W surplus pistol last night. I cranked on it pretty hard and the tool did the job well.
