A friend is hosting Henk this year for a pistol class, and I've offered to help him get things around for it. We have the student minimums met, but there are still a few spots open. Sorry for the short notice, but here are the details:

Civilian Concealed Carry Tactical Pistol
In a dangerous world, citizens CANNOT sit back and expect the Police Department to "protect" them against violent, armed criminals and terrorists. Each and every individual needs to train himself / herself to step up and defend themselves against anarchy.

Description
In this intense training class, we teach our survival mind-set, core skills, basic techniques and tactics that might save your life in a gun-fight. We do not teach "feel good" tactics. Our training DEMANDS hard work and dedication.

Although our terminology might be the same as other trainers and schools, please note that we teach DEFENSIVE SHOOTING skills used under duress. All tactics and techniques taught are reality based and street proven.

• Concealed Carry Options
• "Win at all cost" mind-set
• Accuracy under duress
• Re-active shooting skills
• STRIKE SPEAR and SHIELD technique
• Verbal engagement
• STRIKE presentation
• Flash front sight
• Multiple shot placement
• Stoppage reduction under duress
• Sustainability
• Tactical movement
• Failure to stop drills
• Single aggressor engagement from different angles of attack.
• Pre EMS wound treatment
• Airsoft FoF iterations
• Qualification.

Hardware/Kit

• Functioning pistol, and three working magazines (minimum)
• A holster and magazine pouch that will retain your equipment when moving
• Tools that work on your weapon
• Weapons lube
• Note pad, and pen/pencil
• Clothing suited to strenuous type activity as well as being seasonally appropriate
• Appropriate foot wear
• Rain gear / cold weather gear (seasonal)
• Ear pro (electronic preferred)
• Eye pro, which wraps around
• Baseball style hat recommended
• Knee and Elbow pads (optional)
• Gloves (optional)
• An open mind.

Training with Henk should be on all of our A lists. Very dynamic presentation. Relevant and realistic training. Well worth the cost in time, ammunition etc.

Henk Iverson is one of the few trainers whose classes I recommend without reservation. He will push you hard, but it will be worth it. He is in fact intense, but it is a genuine part of his character and life experiences, not a show for the students. He's all about results and preparing you to prevail in a situation where your life is at stake.

For those who think $425 is a lot of money for two days of instruction, I will say that this class is worth a lot more than that. If you need to get a loan to take it and pay the tuition and for ammo, it's worth it. You will not get many opportunities to participate in classes with Henk, as most of his time is taken with military contract. This will probably be the only open enrollment class he does in Indiana this year.
