I had to share this because it's too cute not to. I went for a walk in my neighborhood this afternoon. As I was rounding the back of the elementary school, I noticed a little girl of about 5 walking way ahead of her family. She didn't see me as I approached. When she did she froze. Then what happened next gave me a chuckle. She gave me the dirtiest look a 5 yr. old could give. Then she got into what I call a " karate pose". I simply walked by her and smiled. A few seconds later she yelled at her mom, " It's okay, I scared the stranger away!" When I passed her mom, I told her she's been trained well. She's a fighter! We both had a good laugh, but it is very important to talk to little ones about strangers and what to do.
