Steiner makes a fine piece of equipment. If your looking for FFP, 34mm tube you might take a look at these. They are cheaper, and every bit as good if not better than the Steiner's. The down side is they are still a few months out. The 3-18, and 4.5-27 meet your requirements.

It has the best warranty in the business no questions asked. even still imo if you choose not to go with vortex look at nightforce, premier, march, or even S&B. any will be in the same price range but look at the options they come with. Definitely call Alan and see what he recommends. He is pretty awesome even if you don't buy one of the scopes he is selling!
