I'm just curious to see what others think.
Will our Cheerless Fearleader use the State of the Union address, the last one he'll ever give :rockwoot:, to continue his push for gun control?

I rather doubt it, especially after the public tongue-lashing he received in his Town Hall address. Taya Kyle completely devastated him. You could almost see the recognition of futility in his eyes.

Anyway, what do you think? Will he push again during the SOTU address?

You're assuming he learns from his mistakes. Of course he'll use it to lecture us on gun control again.

He'll use this address to lecture us all about how wonderful things might have been if we had all just did what he told us. It's all our own fault for not understanding his greatness.

I think he 'won' the town hall debate personally. I didn't watch it, but I can't see how he'd think he 'lost'. He would never admit it to himself. Remember...in his mind 122 % of the country agrees with him.

That said, the next day the arrested 2 Refugees that were trying to help ISIS if I'm not mistaken. Now I'm seeing 41 more(but not seeing anything on a normal website...just 'free beacon' places....so not sure how true it is). If those reports of even the 2 are true the next day(saw the 2 on several news sites) I can't see where his push will do anything but fall on dead ears.

He'll push it again. They never stop pushing. They might repackage the message or shift a point or two of emphasis...but he's not done.

I think the House Republicans should name the empty chair held in honor of "gun violence" the Brian Terry chair, complete with a photo of Agent Terry.

Of course, this assumes arguendo that the House Republicans have any stones.

This is an amazing idea. We could have the Sergeant at Arms escort a cuffed Eric Holder in and stand him next to the Agent Terry chair.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is enough combined testicular fortitude among the entirety of the Republican party to make this happen.
It is an OUTSTANDING idea though...

Email that idea to the Trump campaign. He's the only one with guts to pull something like that.

I am not sure what to predict so far as specifics go, but I feel 100% comfortable in predicting that whatever he says will prove to be engineered for the purpose of its destructive value to the republic, the Constitution, and to freedom.

I tell my wife that once a year we get to see the largest collection of low lifes we will see all year. It is difficult for me to watch Obama, but it serves to remind me how Americans need to be ever vigilant to preserve freedom.

He'll not only push it but a guest of honor chair next to his wife will be dedicated to the victims of "gun violence." While I am not one to panic buy, I do believe in stocking up for the dips in supply. Whenever our president opens his mouth about a natural right dating to my birth, I have an irresistible urge to buy something 2nd Amendment-related. So, I plan to watch his speech with a bowl of popcorn and shop my favorite gun sites just for the fun of it. If he truly wanted to enact gun control laws, he needs to just stop talking about it so much because I suspect I am not the only one to feel the way I do. :)
