I like those disposable foam brushes for poly, but have never tried doing the bottom of anything (just flip whatever I’m working on upside down).

Im just going to rip the handle off and use gloves. Should give me more control.

Probably those long playtex dishwashing gloves to be safe.

Yup, like those who said the same thing, use your spar finish. Put three coats on it and you are good to go.

No need to buy anything. That is not an are subjected to constant submersion. Or outdoors exposure.

I need to do this where the dishwasher is located. The door pops open to allow for faster dry. All that steam has to go somewhere and it coats the underside of the laminate tops. Poor design in my opinion.

Planned to just seal it with paint. I have plenty to choose from. Although I like the poly idea as well, and I have that too.

I did that when I had laminate tops. Same thing happened. Turns the board to oatmeal.

Sanded it down, put a few coats of varnish on it. Never had the issue again.
