    Thanks for the link.

I also recommend the 60 Minutes piece that is linked at the bottom of the photos. I hadn't seen it before and found it to be well done.

Since I am not an expert on long guns, can someone tell me what weapon the soldier on the right is holding in pic #14?

It is a Romak PSL (elongated AK chambered in 7.62x544r and is far cheaper than a true SVD). The stock is shorter than the SVD and the magazine is far closer to the trigger guard than the SVD is since the SVD is not directly based on the AK.

    Romak III PSL:

You can pick up PSL's on the market for $700-800 pretty regularly even today:

I would rather that than be on the wrong end of an MLRS mission...
True that, MLRS = bad day downrange.

A little more power than a 155. :rockwoot:

Still the 155 can put some heavy fire downrange and a battery can be almost as effective (in capable hands) as Close Air Support. :ar15:Just thought is show some pictures of the MLRS, great platform, albeit freaking expensive.

It takes an entire Battalion running a non stop 5 minutes to equal the effect of what one MLRS Launcher can do in 1 minute. Which is the most cost effective? Who cares if my a$$ is the one calling for the hand of God to smite someone NOW! :D
