A few 40 major rounds for USPSA. This is good weather for reloading.

Had worked up a few batches of 6.5 creedmoor to try out. Everything from 90gr up to 143gr. The TC compass really liked 2 loads I made.

Top pic is 123gr Hornady Eld match using 40gr Blc-2, Federal gold Medal match primers, with a oal 2.670

Bottom pic is Hornady 140gr Bthp using 34gr Shooters world match powder, Federal Gold Medal match primers and a OAL of 2.80.

Going to see how these loads work with fire formed brass next. Only neck sizing. The groups pictured I was using once fired cases I bought at gun show and full length sized and trimmed to 1.915

Both are 5 shot groups at 100 yards

Not to shabby for a $250 rifle

    Those are some nice groups

Yeah. I was pleasantly surprised. The rifle definitely liked the mid and heavy bullets. I also tried 90, 95, and 100gr too, since I run those in my grendel. Those grouped between 1.25 and 1.75" May try tweaking those loads a bit and see if I can get them sub moa or not

Changing powder on my 357 mag loads loaded 100 in different powder and bullet configurations, will try them out tomorrow

I just did that with 38 Special. 2 different bullet weights, 4 different powders, and several different charges of each powder.

All just to settle on a proven HP-38 and 158gr load which is what I’m loading now.

I've been working up various loads for my M1903. Last week I tried IMR 4064, Varget, BL-C(2) and IMR 4895.

IMR 4064 grouped the best, and IMR 4895 barely hit the paper!:dunno: The other two were okay, but not as consistent as 4064.

For my next trip I have 3 different powder charges (46.1, 46.6, and 47.4 grains) , 2 kinds of bullets (Hornady 150 FMJ vs generic 147 gr FMJ) and crimped vs. uncrimped rounds. Curious to see to what extent these variables affect accuracy.

Trying to run a decent amount of 223. Broke 2 decapping pins. I think I threw the same piece of brass back in the bucket. Seems to be a piece of PMC brass with a very off center flash hole. If it was the same piece of brass, the second one is definitely my fault lol.
