Just got done tumbling and sorting 45acp. Going to try some different powders. Loaded some Bullseye with good results with RNFP cast.

    Now a cup of coffee

What’s up with Federal 45’s? Thinking they were using small primers and I have some fairly recent stuff that has large primers.

Hard to say...different plants maybe? :dunno:

I ran into more of it over my Christmas vacation. It is true, they do exist.

    1500 rds of 45ACP, 800 rds of 357, 2000 9mm 124grn, and 1000 9mm 115grn.

That ought to be a good start on the new year!

I don't reload 45 auto, but they gets into the bucket. I tumble, sort and bag them up for anyone that wants them. I separate the small and large primed cases. All I've found with small primers are Federal.

Not reloading at this time due to waiting for Dillion send a maintenance kit. Checked the tracking and it will be here Friday. Why, why didn’t I opt for 2 day shipping?

Those have been on my list for a while. Do you put the bullets in the plastic box primer up or primer down with that?

Primer up. Using the hundo tray to transfer them to the ammo box. Need to get a bunch more ammo boxes the next time I order from Dillon

Loaded 1000 9mm polymer bullets on the 550 today, worked up a good load using shooters world powder, still got a couple thousand more to do

+1 for shooters world powders. Only have tried the Precision Rifle powder but WOW! I have two PRS AR15's setups (1 Wilson Combat SS 20" 1:7, 1 WOA 18" 1:8 SPR) and found a load with 77SMK's that makes them shoot .4 and .43 MOA respectfully.

Really found it to be a very consistent powder in 5.56 loads so far. Going to try it in 308W next.
