    [STRIKE]SPF[/STRIKE] SOLD

    Smith & Wesson M1917, 6-shot, .45 ACP / .45 Auto Rim, single action / double action revolver.

5.5” barrel. Bore is pitted and rifling is faint. Overall blue finish with walnut grips. Blue finish is worn and faded and an overall brown patina is beginning to develop.

This pistol was likely manufactured in 1917 or early 1918 based upon the GHS acceptance mark. The GHS (Major Gilbert H. Stewart) mark was only used until April 1918.

This revolver was inspected and cleaned by INGO’s very own Bosshoss. He fixed the end shake, timing and cylinder-retaining stud. Everything now functions properly. Serial numbers all match.

Deficiencies: In addition to what is mentioned above, there are dings and nicks consistent with a pistol that has been well used. Lanyard loop has been replaced with a reproduction part.

$250 cash. No trades at this time.

A face-to-face meeting will be set up with the person buying this revolver. If I don’t know you, your driver’s license and LTCH will be reviewed with no information recorded. I’m willing to travel up to an hour from Brownsburg to make this deal happen.
