This is still America, you can't just slaughter people. That said, I don't see things changing here much, sadly I expect Drugs Inc. to become a larger part of the economy every year.

Does the death penalty apply to dealers who sell drugs to addicts that ultimately die, heroine users are dying daily.

Would you be for or against killing dealers or addicts here in Indiana.

There's no question I was addicted to opioids. However, those were legally prescribed.

Would "addict" also include tobacco and alcohol? They kill far more than the Sched. 1 drugs combined. Note that death from smoking is not broken out in the data below, but we can assume a reasonable fraction of deaths due to heart and respiratory disease.

Stop the 'war on drugs' and prohibitions. Let the self-destructive self-liquidate. No more drug culture, no more of our rights sacrificed in the name of fighting the drug culture.

This Duterte guy makes Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos look like George and Martha Washington. We are a nation of laws. Government hit squads killing drug criminals puts us on a path to a place we don't want to be.

Are you saying the U.S. Government has never used hit squads?

Even if your child dies from od.

These young people are making decisions we can not change.
Have you had to attempt to put an addict back on track. They will deceive/divert/steal/find alternative ways to get high regardless of the law, an available dealer, what ever.
We have been through this and it gets ugly.
Eliminating the dealers only opens up the search for alternative avenues such as poisons of all nature that are readily available.
The answer is in the culture. The drug culture. It is embedded in the users and those who would use. The dealers are merely opportunists.

This is more than just an opinion.

If my child died of od, would i support the killing of all drug users and dealers?

no, no i would not. thats a pretty severe punishment for someone, especially when you consider how many people probably not a user, but was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and were "guilty by association".
