QUESTION: Will Sig ever release a shotgun???

Over the past few years, I have unintentionally become quite a fan of Sig firearms.

I was a Glock and AR guy for many years. Still am really.

Then came a great deal on the SP2022 Tac-Pac.

Next was an MPX because it’s a modern MP5 (which I always drooled over).

Then came a P320RX (new EDC)

MCX Virtus pistol (300blk suppressor host)

MCX Gen 1 5.56 carbine (hell of a deal)

P365 (new standard in subcompact edc gun)

    All of a sudden...I’m a Sig Fanboy.

All of them have proved themselves to be high quality guns and I enjoy them all.

Now I find myself clamoring for a slick semi-auto, mag fed 12 gauge from Sig.

With the Sauer in Sig Sauer being an long-standing shotgun manufacturer, will it ever happen?

They've certainly raked in cash by branding optics and ammo, so it sure seems like a decent tactical shotgun would sell based on name alone (for you Sig fanboyz). Lol

Seriously, I've rarely been disappointed with any of my Sigs, but pistols and rifles are what they do best.

Years ago Sig did sell their own brand of shotguns built by Rizzini (O/U's though, nothing tactical). They were nice but never caught on and Sig ended up dumping them, not sure if Sig would try it again.

AR15s are THE home defense item. I really don't see Sig doing anything like that and considering their Indian MIM and other weird QC fun, I'd imagine if they did put a shotgun out, it would be a Turkish rebrand.
