I am attending an Appleseed in Fl on the 12th and I am looking for some more trigger time on the AR before I leave on the 1st. Is there any public ranges that allow rifles that I could go to tomorrow?

Within an hour drive of Indy.

I am looking into join Hamilton County Fish & Game but have not got around to it.

Good news for you, it's looks like the turn out will be small by Appleseed standards so you'll get lots of one on one instructor time.

AAR is an After Action Report
As for pre practice the best practice you can do right now is Dry Firing at home
    Get into the positions
Prone & Kneeling then dry fire
Strech those muscles and practice dry firing
Living room floor is best place, focus on a 110V outlet and practice practice practice
This will teach trigger control and will tell you if you have a flinch, buck,or jerk
This will also help strech those lazy muscles that you will re discover about Saturday afternoon.
You shold have been practicing for the last couple of weeks dry firing
And should keep it up after you get done
A pair of elbow pads may be a good idea for you also
also practice standing to getting in the prone position and back

    Hope this helps

The way we used to do our dry fire practice was to take a dime or a washer and place it on the end of the barrel. That way if you flinch, jerk, etc. the washer/dime will fall of the end. This works best with someone there to help you put it back on. But, it was very effective and very low cost.
