    Also update on the meat.

I have one box of 32 burgers and 0 dogs.
Also I have 32 burger buns + 16 hot dogs buns.
Note these buns have been frozen since NOV so I'm not sure what they are gonna taste like.

Once we get a better count I will bring the dogs.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I have a decent amount of deer meat I could contribute to burgers if someone has a way to cook 'em up. I also have a griddle that is around 26" wide or so that fits gas grills, a good way to cook up a pile of food in a hurry. Again, if I make it (unless somebody is bringing a big tent I wont be coming if its pouring rain). If not I could still send items with somebody.

Deer burgers... hum never had deer meat but Ido want to try it.
You bring it we cook it, we do have some big grills that come if requested. The number is still small so not sure if we need another grill jsut yet. But u bring the meat and Iwill cook it.

As the seaon progresses we tend to cook a lot more then just dogs.

Sounds cool. Nice to find another Grendel fan here in NWI. I've got 2 of them. One a 19" and the other a 24" heavy barrel. I'm getting sub 1/2 MOA at 200 yards with cheap Wolf ammo.

Another NWI INGO member, aclark in Crown Point, is currently building a Grendel.

I've been reading up on this and I'm thinking at least an upper build is in order. Parts just suck for ars right now.

Good thing I remembered this thread...

I still plan on attending and would be happy to contribute in any way necessary. Looks like we are in need of some deserts... I'd be happy to bring some cookies or brownies or something along those lines.

9mm is proving difficult to find tho

Thanks what we will most likely need as we get closer will be bread (hot dog and/or burgers).

Looks like we have someone bringing us deer meat for burgers as well.

I'll try to be there, pending halfway decent weather.

    If there, I'll have:
    22/45 (some ammo)
AK47 pistol (a little / some ammo) (its barely a pistol, 14" barrel)
    45-70 lever gun (some ammo)
6.5 grendel (no spare ammo available)
Mossberg 500 (? If I get any buckshot reloaded before then to try out)

Spudgunr, I'm still unable to commit to this event due to current health issues. But if I can make it, I'll gladly let you shoot a couple of my rifles with my ammo in exchange for a round or two through your 45-70. That is one caliber that I've never shot. :ingo:

Anyone here is welcome to try a couple rounds from it. Its more enjoyable when there is something to shoot though (I shot at a river and it shatters rocks into a shower of pebbles). I think its 400 grains at around 2000 or so FPS. More than 458 socom, but not quite buffalo bore hot.
