    I'm a maybe.

    I'll probably just bring

    Springfield M1A .308 Win/7.62 NATO(limited ammo)
    Ruger SR-1911 .45 ACP(some ammo)
    Ruger 22/45 .22 lr(bunch of ammo)

The M1A has a Burris fastfire on it now, I might get a Vortex Viper PST on it by then.

Man I am so happy to see the shoots starting up again, but I had rotator cuff surgery a couple weeks ago and I am not going to ready for this one.

Since I can only make Sundays hopefully I will see you all in May.

I might be able to make it???

Our flight to Spain was supposed to leave on Wednesday but the whole trip got moved 2 days so we don't fly out until Friday. If I can swing it then I will be in Winamac for this shoot!

I'll try to be there, pending halfway decent weather.

    If there, I'll have:
    22/45 (some ammo)
AK47 pistol (a little / some ammo) (its barely a pistol, 14" barrel)
    45-70 lever gun (some ammo)
6.5 grendel (no spare ammo available)
Mossberg 500 (? If I get any buckshot reloaded before then to try out)

It is a 19" or so fairly light barrel, but I have it set up mid range. I've gotten 3-4" at 300 off the bipod with my 1-4x scope. Rifle length YHM quad rail, mid length gas system w/ low profile block. I haven't shot it much, was trying before to figure out which bullet I was going to invest in. I think I'll go with the 108 scenar, it jellied the deer I shot with it! I just hesitate to invest the over $300 in 1000 bullets until I am SURE which one I'm going with.

Sounds cool. Nice to find another Grendel fan here in NWI. I've got 2 of them. One a 19" and the other a 24" heavy barrel. I'm getting sub 1/2 MOA at 200 yards with cheap Wolf ammo.

Another NWI INGO member, aclark in Crown Point, is currently building a Grendel.

I've only done load testing with bullet combinations, I haven't tried different primers, powders, etc. If I had some place close by I'd probably do a little more (heck, I don't think I've done ANY shooting in 2-3 years). I'm not a great rifle shot, for me sandbags and a 9x scope would probably help me get more accuracy. But, I thought I'd get more USEFULNESS out of a 1-4x, I've been burned hunting before when 4x was too much magnification for a deer that ran by close up.

In addition the MARCH rifle comp is now up.
I think I'll start the tradition of starting the Meet & Shoots with an "appleseed" type of target for the first meet.
