Hey, I am new to the AR world. I will be moving a scope to an AR. I know there is some sort of magic that needs to happen to be able to get a good fit. I know there are risers and different heights and so forth. Can you either help me know what to get and/or point me in the right direction??

    Thanks!

Check into something like the P.E.P.R. for mounting a scope on an AR.

Scopes - rifle scopes, handgun scopes, hunting scopes by Burris Optics

burris pepr are good mounts for the money. i carry a few options that are higher quality, but they are a little more money.

what you are looking for is a cantilever mount. it raises the center of the scope up to 1.47 becasue and extends the scope more towards the handguards. depending on the scope you are mounting you need diffrent lengths of extention.

give me a call and we will talk about what you need, even if you want to go with the pepr mounts that i do not carry. (i still recomend them alot)
