Saw a bachelor herd

I was sitting out on a lawnchair at a relative's house, waiting with a rifle for a groundhog that's been tearing up their yard.

About 8:00 pm, two six-pointers and two eight-pointers stroll into the apple orchard and graze away for a half-hour. All four were well outside of their ears, and one of the eights was truly impressive.

I'm counting the days until fall.

I was out driving around Turtle Creek Reservoir today and spotted 2 bucks, possibly 3, 1 was far off. No monsters but it was nice to see some antlers for a change. BTW, there were several deer around that lake!
