Me and a buddy are gearing up for CAS. He has two 38 SAA and a 38 Puma. I have a 45 Vaquero and a 45 Winchester crank gun. neither one of us has a shotgun yet. Or could I shoot my O/U 12 gauge? Can I shoot the Vaquero and like a 1860 Colt BP in a match? We are closest to Warsaw but won't be able to make the next match. We are hoping to borrow a SG on match day. Unrealistic??
I do have two cowboy hats, one for him and one for me.:draw:

We are serious highpower shooters, looking for some fun....We promise not to shoot any one in the butt...

I was a member a while back but never did anything with it. Been thinking of maybe trying it again.

I think it'd be fun to go and watch!

There are a few more CASS folks on board; hopefully they'll chime in.

I shoot SASS and love it

I shoot Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, and I used to shoot Bulleye. Cowboy action is much more fun. Yes you do have to dress in Cowboy duds, but that is half the fun. The people are the frendliest of any of the action sports, bar none.
No you can't shoot your O/U for the shogun. Must be a SxS, a Win 97 or clone, or a 1887 lever action. Show up to the shoot and say you don't have a shotgun,,,,, A dozen or more will offer to let you shoot theirs. Same with the other guns.
There are several good clubs in this state. To see a complete list go to SASS - Home and click on clubs. This will show you all the club locations. Most have their own website for maps and when they shoot.
If you want more info just email me and I will help you out.
