Ive got a galaxy s3 and looking to upgrade to either an s5 or s6.

Im kind of disappointed that the s6 doesn't have expandable memory and isnt water proof plus I've a battery life isnt as good as the 5.

Ill hoping someone here has direct knowledge on the 5 vs 6 and can share your opinion.

    Thanks!

Upgraded from my S4 to the S6 and it was a huge upgrade. Not into big phones so the notes don't even interest me. Wireless charging and quick charge are awesome. Best phone out right now imho.

The s5 saved someone I knows life after their boat sunk off the Florida coast. It was in water for about a hour . Dialed 911,got through the 4th time. Coast Guard showed up after Dark. He used the light on it to guide em in.

See THAT's what I'm talking about?!

How can you have some many awesome features in the S5, and then take some of the key ones away from the S6?

Thats why I got the s5 active , water proof , memory card slot , and removable battery. And can take a little bit of abuse .

I have an S5 and like it.
I won't be getting an S6 because it has a built in battery.
I avoid phones that won't allow me to remove or change the battery.
Every so often a device "loses it's mind" and needs it's battery removed then put back to do a full cold restart.

PLUS if I keep it long enough, i want to be able to get a new battery.

And you can get the S5 at Best Buy for $1. I was in the same boat as you Clay and I went with the S5. S6 was to Iphonish for me.
