This is a Model 38 Airweight, manufactured 1973 or 1974. .38 Special. It’s what later became known as a “bodyguard” frame with the shrouded hammer. It’s been carried some, but the cylinder locks up tight and the trigger is great. No box.
Really nice carry piece, but I want to go back to a DAO “hammerless” style or to a regular hammer. Primarily Interested in trading for a S&W Model 642, 640, 442, or 60. Might be willing to trade for a Colt Mustang or Pony or for a Kimber Micro in stainless. Must see DL and LTCH. Located near Pendleton in east central Indiana, and at the moment I’m too busy to drive far. Thanks for looking!
