If that's true then American AWACS in theater are legitimate military targets and Russia has every right to knock them down with SAMs or fighters.
That is crazy! Like, attacking north of the Yalu river crazy or attacking Soviet cargo ships in Hanoi harbor crazy

Some infringements have to be tolerated if the major players don't want a short-cut to nuclear war

New sanctions. Another 800 million in US tax dollars down the tubes and now no Russia ships may dock at a US port.

Considering we spent a trillion each in Iraq and Afghanistan, I see no problem with arming the Ukrainians. However, Im not shy in my support of them either. Let them wear Russia down until the Russian economy tanks for good.

How many sailors went down with the cruiser?

If we're lining up and calling shots and doing everything except pressing the button, we're killing Russians. It's like we're trying to make ourselves legitimate targets so we can cry and whip up war fever when the inevitable happens.

How long will Russia put up with "let us kill your boys or we'll nuke you"?

Russia isn't going to do much about it because, if how hey've handled the war in Ukraine is any indicator, they can't. It's no secret we've been sharing intelligence with them, both publicly and classified. Any of this information could have easily led to Russian soliders' deaths. Accusing us of giving Ukraine intel does little more than further demoralize their own troops.

Access to resources, labor, protected trade routes, and protection from invasion. That is what all nations want and why they go to war when deals don’t happen.

There’s exceptions of course but it’s a good first principle.

WW 3 is going to be local civil conflicts due to lack of food with several land grab conflicts like Russia/Ukraine.

Who provided the SAMs, was manning the radars and toggling the shots on the 52s during Arc Light? Would that be Russians killing our soldiers? Did we nuke them for it?

The game just isn't ever played like that

One of Russia's goals is to wrest control of the Eastern/Southern portions of Ukraine to create a land bridge from Russia to Crimea. They basically want to annex that territory along the southern coast. It's a continuation from when they took Crimea in 2014.

When is this blathering, mentally ill jack*** going to address his constitutuinal duty to defend the Southern border of the united States?
He's not. Ukraine is a diversion tactic. He wants to keep it going on as long as possible so he can blame Putin for his own crippling domestic agenda policies which started before the conflict over there.

One challenge with “giving” weapons and ammo with spare parts to the Ukraine.

    How will we restock?

This is war stock equipment and has to be replaced. Will the Biden spend $$ ?

If SHTF and we find empty depots? It would be ironic that we would find ourselves short because we gave it away.
So maybe Vlad is 'wearing us down' to smooth Beijing's path to Taipei?
