Found a great deal in the gun library at Cabelas.

Hopefully will be using this to try my hand at Cowboy Action Shooting soon.

The gun doesn't even look like it has been fired. The guy at Cabelas said it sat in there display case for a long time and they were selling used.

Nice gun. I hope you get out and try cowboy action. I am range officer at a range near Knox and we do CAS on the 4th Saturday of the month, starting in March. Weather permitting. We have a small group and it is a nice place to get started. If you don't have all the guns, there is always someone that will let you use their guns to try them out. Below is our web site. You can find our match schedule and a map on the home page. When it gets close to match time give me a call. My number is on the schedule. I can help you figure out what you need for the match.

Nice pistol there. I have Vaquero in 45 colt (not the new one) but have thought about picking up one of the new models in 357 because they are a good bit smaller and lighter.

Been looking at CAS myself. I don't have the gear...the closest I have is a Henry Big Boy chambered in 44Mag. I'd like to get a pair of Vaqueros...maybe trade my S&W 686 with Bianci holster toward a set. CAS looks like a lot of fun.
