I'd love to add one to my collection but I just can't do it. I can't set foot into a Dick's anymore. I just can't give them any of my money.

I am right there with you. The one in Lafayette had a set of troy buis on clearance and almost bought them. Then my pride and principles got just the way.
I don't like Monsanto but I eat. I don't like Islam but I own 7 gas-powered vehicles, 2 tractors, a lawn mower, weed-eater, chainsaw, snow blower, leaf blower and pressure washer. I don't like a Socialist for a POTUS but I just sent his revenuers a nice check for their "share" of my hard work and goal achievement in 2012. I don't like Dick's Sporting Goods or any other corporation that discounts the little guys off of the playing field, then go off the deep end to be PC for the majority that the aforementioned POTUS and his cronies say want useless new laws to keep the criminally insane and would-be-anyway felons from committing felonies with guns. But I don't feel like it's a good idea right now to take the toys to the range and shoot any of my supply of .380, .45., 5.56 or 300 BLK since the replacement cost right now is, well, you can't replace what you can't find. That's why when I pulled my 17-y/o son out of school Friday to go gun shopping our first stop was Dick's Carmel to claim 2 of those boycotted Takedowns (I've NEVER owned a .22lr ANYTHING). Then it was off to GM Castleton for a PX4 Storm in .40 S&W (yet another new caliber to feed, but I have 500 rds of practice ammo and some home defense) before stopping off at my LGS for a Walther P22 Tact. and matching Guardian can. Got back to town in time to drop off the son for the last bell and practice. A fellow INGOer was nice enough to sell me 2500 .22lr earlier last week for a very reasonable price so I needed something to spit those bullets downrange with. Those guys at Dick's were very nice and knowledgeable. They might have been a little naïve when they said those 3 Takedowns had been there for over 3 weeks and I was the first person to inquire about them. I mentioned something about their corporate policy not sitting well with a lot of people and that many were boycotting. Neither guy agreed with Dick's corporate policy but still have to pay for food, clothing and shelter so they work there. There's still one Takedown left as of Friday, April 12. The display gun. We fired 100 rds out of one of ours yesterday.
Go ahead..........Flame away. I can take it.
