I'm starting to get an itch.
Me too but I do t want a new caliber to load for. Think they could barrel it in .243? Hmmmm
I'm starting to get an itch.
1. Does Ruger drill and pin?I've bought one. So, if you have any questions you think I could help with......
I don't understand why some AR company doesn't make a 308, 6.5 creedmoor, etc with a light weight barrel. Hunters do not need a heavy barrel. We shoot one maybe 2 shots so we don't need a heavy barrel.
Come out with a pencil barreled AR-10 I bet it would sell.

That's what I'm doing for my 308 build but I'm going with the gunner profile since it's barely any extra weight, and still lighter than most anything else. 13.9 pin/welded with a Brigand Arms handguard.Faxon Duty Series 16", Pencil .308 WIN, Mid-Length, 4150 QPQ Nitride AR-10 Barrel
Manufactured from 4150 CMV and given a nitride finish, this pencil profile .308 16 inch barrel is built for improved value, durability, and performance.faxonfirearms.com
I've been looking at this, and a 10-12" lightweight rail combo.
I LOVE the Atlas S One on my AR that has it.Have you tried the Brigand Arms handguard? I have one, and I'm not a fan. It's diameter is too fat for my liking. The atlas s one is a few ounces more and much more comfortable.
Like the Smith M&P-10? It has been a solid seller for Smith.I don't understand why some AR company doesn't make a 308, 6.5 creedmoor, etc with a light weight barrel. Hunters do not need a heavy barrel. We shoot one maybe 2 shots so we don't need a heavy barrel.

*shrugs* Not certain. NutNFancy was a fanboi years ago.How did that escape me all these years. I guess I just figured all AR-10 came with the heavy barrels.
