Well I took it out and proceeded to shoot it in. My Bushnell AR Optic 1-8×24 decided to fail. I'm now in the process of contacting Bushnell for warranty services.
Now it looks like I'll be taking my Vortex 1-6× Strike Eagle and putting it on for this season.

I'll update you all with the warranty services of Bushnell. So far it's been two business days and no response.

I have had 1 Bushnell optic.
I have had 1 Bushnell optic fail.

They reluctantly agreed to honor the warranty but wanted me to ship it to them & pay $30-$40 for shipping & handling back, I put it in the junk pile & moved on to Vortex

I'm probably going to do the same but I will get them to warranty it. May give it away to someone with a 5.56. Maybe the 7.62x39mm in a bolt action was too much for it?
It did fine on my 7.62x39mm AR.

This is the one I'm trying to get repaired.

I can confirm the accuracy of these rifles they just flat out shoot. Here is the one I reviewed for my channel as was very impressed with how it performed. I still kick myself for getting rid of this one..

I have your channel subscription. I'm glad you're an INGO member. I didn't know that until today.

Finally got around to putting the Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×50MM V-Brite scope I got from AAOPTICS https://aaoptics.com/ on.

I got the sound forwarding break on it. It supposed to push the sound forward, and reduce muzzle flip. I had to try it out to see if it actually works. Got both on Christmas sales.

@42769vette was very helpful in choosing an inexpensive scope that my needs. Which was a scope to be able to see the reticle in early morning or late evening hunts in the woods.
The V Brite looks like it will do the job nicely for low light conditions and as 42769vette said the 50mm lense will gather more light.

So now all I need to do is shoot it in with my favorite hunting load and I'll be ready for next season.

Inexpensive, reliable, accurate rifle with an inexpensive, reliable scope to hunt deer under 75yds. That was my goal.

    I'm done with Bushnell.

I shot my Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39mm in today.
I used Norma 7.62x39mm 123gr FMJ. Not the best accuracy, but I mainly bought it for the brass to load my own and it was cheaper to buy Norma 7.62x39mm than 7.62x39mm brass at the time.
I also shot Tula 124gr SP the accuracy was similar.
It was shot at 50yds because that's about maximum I'll be hunting with it. Of course I'll be using Hornady 123gr SST or 125gr Speer TnT instead. I'll have to test which one I like better accuracy wise.

This is setup I used and target. You can see where I sighted it in in the middle. Top left was 5rds to adjust some more.
Top right 10 shot group with Norma 123gr FMJ.
Bottom left is 5 shots of Tula 124gr SP I had left over and needed to be shot up.

Basically the same group sizes my AR-15 7.62x39mm got with this ammunition as well.

Sorry to hear of the troubles. I've had good luck with their old Elite line of scopes. AA optics is good to go on the vortex stuff. I think of Allen as a friend, even though I've actually only laid eyes on him twice in about 10 yrs.
