These Ruger GSR rifles in 308 WIN seem like excellent hosts for suppressors (short barrel, no gas blow back with bolt action,) and for use with subsonic ammo (fast twist and you don't have to worry about action cycling). They have been hard to find. I was at Phoenix Guns in Columbus (812-378-5727) today, they had several, including right and left hand, and both 16.5" and 18" barrels. Just thought I'd share that with anyone looking for one.

Anyone been using a Ruger GSR as a suppressor host? Is it a good choice?

Got mine from Acme in Seymour. I really like it, but haven't ran it suppressed yet. Barrel twist is 1:10 though, so it shoots the heavier (thus slower) loads well. I took it out deer hunting this past weekend (using crop devastation permits), and found it to be very handy.
