Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. dead at 87

Louis Gossett Jr., the first Black man to win a supporting actor Oscar, has died at the age of 87. The actor died Thursday night in California.

He did a lot of good stuff and was a versatile actor.
He could do comedic stuff well too.

One of them was the Rockford Files episodes he guest starred in 2 episodes as that slick talking con-man, Marcus Aurelius 'Gabby' Hayes.

The funniest one of the two was when Issac Hayes who played Rockford's old cell mate "Gandy", and Marcus Aurelius 'Gabby' Hayes got put together in "Just Another Polish Wedding".
Gandy is always smacking him around, and he's trying to talk his way away from him.
I LMAO every time I see it.

Great actor. The Iron Eagle movies were good, Officer and a Gentleman was outstanding, and the often overlooked Enemy Mine was always a favorite of mine.(Me being a sci-fi buff)

87 isn't bad though. RIP good sir.
