I hate to spend much money on it but i have already mounted a redfield peep sight on it as and appleseed loaner rifle. The current trigger assembly has been modified to reduce trigger pull and is no longer functioning properly or safe so I need to find another. If you have a 597 that you hate and have wondered what to do with it...I may be your man.
