Remington 1903A3 Serial # 40033_ _ Sept-Oct 1943 Build Date
Barrel is marked R.A. 1943 with Flaming Bomb very well could original to the gun.
Stock has Faint Ordnance cartouche.
Stock has Inspector marks FJA Frank J Atwood Inspector.
Stock shows going thru rebuild at Ogden Arsenal
Barrel Measures
Throat 2-3
Muzzle 1
Barrel is in good shape and bright. Lotsa rounds left in it.
At one time this rifle MAY have gone thru a rebuild. Not sure if stock is original to gun.

Sometime in this 1903a3 history someone installed LYMAN sights front and rear.
Maybe to do competition shooting. Or maybe a military match gun? UNKNOWN.

I have not shot the gun.

Looking for FTF transaction in Evansville or surrounding area.
DL and LTCH would be nice but not required.
