    This could get good . . .

Yes. Then again, since none of them are ill-mannered and short-tempered enough to satisfy the sadistic voyeurism of the home audience with an old-fashioned glass-breaking, table-smashing barroom brawl, we may have to settle for verbal jousting instead.

All three must have phony British accents if this is to work well.

Yes, quite! One must forcefully throw down the gauntlet in a most outrageous and ungentlemanly manner to provoke fisticuffs!

Egad! I shan't be goaded by a ruffian to engage in such base behaviors! Poltroon!

The denizen of the Serengeti has a thick hide, indeed.
Perhaps I could interest you in a joint attack on your arch nemesis. Egregious insults to his profession, his heritage, or even the Crown itself? That should bring him out with virtual guns blazing.

Whilst we await suitable opportunities, we must adopt a mindset offensive to the sensibilities of His Britishosity. This should do for starters:

    Where's the bacon?
Let's just go to constitutional carry and be done with it all !!

Good plan. One state at a time. Or multiple at a time, but each doing it itself. Other approaches beckon government to intercede at a federal level, and this is not conducive toward individual liberty either when it happens or after the fact.

    Blessings,
    Bill

Bolded for emphasis. Everyone should read and heed.

BoR, I have for some time considered the need for a separate thread on the principles of Federalism, so that everyone can review and (re)consider his own understanding of the concept. Where to place it? In an academic setting, it might fall under Gen Pol, but given the nature of threads there it would seem likely to be sidetracked or derailed by warring factions and/or personal agendas.

Some states only accept permits with similar training requirements. Some states don't accept permits from states that issue them to people under 21. And some states dont accept any permits because they hate guns

They don't hate guns, they hate people. Requiring a permit to exercise a fundamental right has nothing to do with guns.

Much as in the movie "The Matrix", they like people only for what they can get from us. In the movie, it was electrical power. In our world, it is political power... and of course, money.
