No worries, I appreciate the info anyway. I'm considering joining, just curious about their range. I used to shoot at Riley CC but I since moved up to Clinton, so that's a bit far for me now. That is my old stomping grounds. I just spent an hour touring that area on google earth, man, I haven't been in that area in many years.
I'm sorry I actually have little to nothing to offer for your post.
The property looks beautiful and there are tons of strip mining lakes and ponds in that area and they left the ground rough enough in areas that they would make great parks.
I have no idea what distance the range goes out to. There is, very near there if not the same property, a gentleman I know of that has a range that goes out to at least a 1000. I don't know if he ever made it public or not though. Last time I saw it (also just google earth) it was a more simple straight line rifle range. Iirc it was along a path cleared for the power lines.
Well you can be sketchy at times!!!! LOLI think this used to be the old Isaak Walton but I'm not 100% sure.
I know Trey white has a long range rifle range somewhere in Centenary also but i think it is invite only membership.
I asked about him about it one day and kind of got the runaround. I guess I'm not on the invite only list lol
Yeah soWell you can be sketchy at times!!!! LOL
Oh, thanks very much for those. I'll have to look into those. I still haven't committed to Rangeline yet anyway (and their rules mentioned something about not being able to shoot pistol under 10 yards). So I'm still looking.Rangeline Conservation Club looks like a nice place. There are a few other outdoor ranges not far from you.
ProTEQ is highly regarded by quite a few INGO members ... http://www.proteqrange.net/
Same for Lost Creek Conservation Club in Seelyville ... http://www.lostcreekcc.org/
Riley Conservation Club in Terre Haute is. Great place to shoot. I'm sure centenary is closer but there are less restrictions at RileyOh, thanks very much for those. I'll have to look into those.
