    Wasn't Chris Costa a Coastie badass? A couple platoons of dudes like him ought to be able to clean up the streets.

    In all reality, like was mentioned it's not they're mission. However I've been around some of their port security and LE tactical team guys. They're switched on and have some experience, but no Mosul unless they had transferred over. I met one dude who did a few tours in Afghanistan and Iraq with MARSOC who did.

    Here's another question - in the age of terrorism, does Posse Comitatus make sense?

    Against Somali's no, against Branch Dividians, yes.

    If the National Guard goes to fight them in the desert, you'd think they can fight them here in the lush grasses of the American savannah

    I think Slick Willie waived posse comitatus at Waco, Weasley Clark loaned the tanks that they used to breach the buildings and caused the place to burn down.
