    Dear INGO Members,

At this time we request that if you are not an Advertising Site Supporter that you not promote your business and services (firearms related or otherwise) on INGO through the use of Posts, Signatures, Avatars, Custom User Titles, etc.

We have many businesses that have decided to support the site through advertising. It is not fair to those businesses to allow other members (including Site Supporters) to promote their own business / services without making the same financial contribution as the Advertising Site Supporters.

INGO receives visits from thousands of Hoosiers daily. We have an amazing amount of traffic that comes through our site. Our advertising rates are as low as $1 per day. This is an incredible value.

If you care not to advertise with us, but would be interested in some exposure we would be happy to place a link to your business website in our links area that appears on the left-hand side of the forum page (reciprocal link required) . We also provide a sticky thread in our Break Room where you are free to post your services one time:

    https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...r_hire_post_your_expertise_services_here.html

Unless you are an Advertising Site Supporter no other advertising will be allowed within the forum, and if found it will be removed. Simply mentioning a related business in the course of a thread is in no way restricted, as long as it is relevant to the thread and would not be considered obtrusive.

At this time we have one exception to this rule: Any member may post training opportunities in the Tactics and Training forum.

There are bound to be questions regarding this new policy. Feel free to post them here or PM me. We will start enforcing this new policy Wednesday 4/8/09

    Thanks,

    Mike

That makes a lot of sense. I've seen advertisers competing with non advertisers selling the same product, and it isn't right. I think this is a good decision :yesway:
