"Device mounts on accessory rail of handgun
Glass breaker is triggered by pressing weapon against the window, thereby allowing an officer to break a car (or other) window without taking his gun sights off of the suspect
Quick release mechanism fits Picatinny or Weaver rails
    Life-saving, quick and clean glass-breaking
Device equipped with a lower rail, allowing for the mounting of additional tactical devices
Easy to fit & convenient to operate
Durable, hardwearing & lightweight metal & plastic composite construction
Widely used by emergency services, law enforcement agencies and SWAT teams worldwide"

Im not sure where they get their "widely used worldwide" from.
I never seen any police officer having that thing on his/her gun. :dunno:

What if you want to rescue someone in a car who is not a suspect, you still need to point your gun in their face to rescue them?
And what are "emergency services", does that means EMTs carry that mounted on their gun?
Will you ever find a holster to fit your gun and that thing attached to it?

I would be surprised if any LEO on here uses that thing.

Worthless in my opinion. It won't do anything a pen-sized automatic center punch won't do, and it's not like that thing is going to fit in any holster.

    ^ +1

plus, there are far better tactical gear options both for breaking glass and for your pistol (i.e. flashlight/laser)

Thats also an excellent point... never thought about that.

Not to mention, if the LEO (or civillian) is in a place where they need to pull their pistol, but break glass... they should either just shoot the window out, or not present the use of lethal force and its tools (the firearm)

Douchebag Engineering at it's finest. If I need to pop a window I wouldn't be using something attatched to my gun, that's why I carry a baton on my belt (damn thing isn't good for much else)

Not to mention if there is a LEO that has a perp in a car at gunpoint, chances are there is going to be atleast 3 other LEOs with guns drawn as well. At that point draw straws for who breaks the window with a baton or what have you. You can still keep your gun aimed while breaking the glass with a free hand. Everyone wins as long as the perp doesn't do anything stupid.

As said above it's pretty useless and overly dangerous for something that can be done other ways.
