These petitions are turning into the new "Like if you agree!" on a Facebook post. They accomplish nothing but making people feel good without actually doing anything; while diluting the overall numbers of important ones to the point where they soon won't be getting the required number to warrant a response, anyway.

The White House isn't going to vote on any legislation. Efforts would be better spent convincing our Senators and Reps that they will absolutely be out of a job if they vote for any type of ban. Donnelly in particular knows he is on very, very fragile ground; and a reminder that protecting the Constitution is far more important than passing feel-good, knee-jerk legislation that will not only be ineffective, but 100% cost him the election next time around.
