Learned a little interested tidbit on the new green Camaros.
I love the color on those but found out that this is GM's "green" car and that you can't get it in a V8.
    Just thought that was interesting.

This is the only time I have seen a green one.

I was wondering why the OP posted something that is factually incorrect.

Go to the Chevrolet website and build your own camaro, you can get the green on the 2SS model...

Must have changed it, when they first came out it was V6 only or at least that is what I heard was being told at SEMA. It was green because it was "green" when it comes to the enviorment if I remember right.

Ok, I was wondering why you hate an an American icon.

I bet you hate apple pie and baseball too :):

It didn't use to be this way

While driving my Camaro home from the baseball game in which the Indians lost, I stopped at McDonalds drive thru for a warm apple pie. While driving away, the check engine light came on and the car slowed to a halt. While waiting to find out the engine was a lost cause, I burned my tongue on the pie. America let me down.

The V-6 is no slouch. 300 some odd horsepower aint nothing to sneeze at. More than the V-8's of just a few years ago.

The power is there but so it the weight of the car. They are still close to the 3,700 or so pound mark.

If I still had my old 96 Z-28 with its 285 or whatever hp when it was stock I would have gladly run one....... Stock it was at like 3500 pounds....... see what I am getting at?
