True besides if Expat did that he would have a lot of sammys to eat. Turky, ham, corned beef a loaf of wheat and a loaf of rye. I'm sure Waylon would be willing to help eat all of that.

I finally called Autozone to ask about my order. The gal said she would go pick it right then. About 5 minutes later, she called me to say that they didn't have the part after all and that she suspected it had been stolen. She refunded my money. I asked about another store and she said they were showing 2 in stock but suggested I call, because they're a high theft item. Apparently battery accessories and light bulbs are both high theft items. I went ahead and ordered it from the other store, so we'll see if I get an email saying it's ready to pick up.

Howdy Lpherr. For lack of a better term, it's "stretched out" and won't fully tighten on the post.

Based from experience, my guess is it has been over-tightened, and the tabs/ears got pulled together.
Now those tabs/ears contact before the clamp tightens on the post.

Yep, exactly. Hence my "stretched out" description.
