Very nice indeed.Another painting from down on the Farm.
Acrylic on canvas.
The Old Brick is what we called the house.
Built in 1848
The house is sited on the high point of the farm which was also close to the high point of the rail line between Indianapolis and Richmond Indiana.
The old steam engines were slowed by the grade and there was a hobo camp in a wooded area close to the tracks back in the day.
Mom remembers some of the wayward travelers coming by the farm for a meal.
The painting is a memory of mine from 1960s.
The Collie in the yard was named Lassie of course.
A fine dog.
