Old Remington 22 single shot rifle parts

I'm trying to find a takedown screw for a Remington Model 41 Targetmaster. Numrich is out of stock, Brownells doesn't carry it, and the best I've found is this one that sold on ebay.

Anyone got one of these old rifles in disrepair? Or better yet, have spare parts for one? Figured I'd ask here before I manufacture my own. Thanks!

This screw for the 512 is probably the proper thread, but it looks too short.

I have a Model 41, but no spare parts. I agree that the 512 screw looks too short.

I will happily measure mine if you decide to make one. Just PM me.

Looks like I'm going to tap the escutcheon and the bushing out to accept something more modern. This screw is nowhere to be found. Bob's doesn't have it either...

I ended up grinding the head down on a 1" 6mm phillips head bolt, and tapping the escutcheon and bushing to 6mm fine thread. Everything fits together just fine, and the gun shoots very well!

You can't beat a free old 22!
