Thats what i was guessing, coming from Plymouth and they mentioned county line road.
Someone didn't want to see what 2021 had in store.

Pioneer Dr. is where Lifeplex and the new(ish) Loves truck stop are at on 30. Koontz Lake is still quite a ways away from there. That must have been quite the chase.

Not really that far if you take Plymouth / LaPorte trail out past Swan Lake

A couple of roads are a straight shot to Koontz lake from there, 10 min or so

Probably about 10 miles. Koontz Lake area where it ended is fairly built up so that could have been interesting.

Wonder if he went 23 to there or PL/LP Trail . Easy to get to that location from a couple different directions

Almost easier on 23...750 (whatever it is in Marshall County) is a gravel road I think.

He could have came in off of 30 by the truck stop, That's a straight shot (no pun intended) to where it ended

True. That actually makes more sense than Plymouth-LaPorte Trail.
