WASHINGTON – Tens of thousands of protesters fed up with government spending marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, showing their disdain for the president's health care plan with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick" and "I'm not your ATM."

(For the record, I was not consulted by the slogan choosing crew.)



IN Rep. Mike Pence was quoted in the article as well:

Rep. Mike Pence, chairman of the House Republican Conference, said Americans want health care reform but they don't want a government takeover.

"Republicans, Democrats and independents are stepping up and demanding we put our fiscal house in order," Pence, of Indiana, told The Associated Press.
"I think the overriding message after years of borrowing, spending and bailouts is enough is enough," Pence said.

If he did, I'd bet he's in jail right now and unlikely to be released soon. It is illegal to carry a handgun, openly or concealed in D.C.

Although, as a Fed LEO, he can be considered "on duty" all the time.

But he was protesting.

Actually, though, now that I think about it, he might not've open carried. He has to conceal his while working, he probably did what he was used to.

Mike Pence gave a good speech, but I liked Indiana's Treasury Secretary's speech better.
