I just read this. Seems like a good thing but beware of complacency. This is no time to back down on the support of our freedom and rights.

He will back off banning guns via the front door so that he and the rest of the anti-gun Dems can hide behind the CIFTA Treaty back door and other pan-European treaties to follow.

NONE of the proposed gun controls found in CIFTA are likely to pass by themselves through Congress. If the treaty is enacted they don't have to — they become law when the treaty is ratified.

Virtually NO PROTECTIONS FOR RKBA are to be found, and the wordings are loose enough to allow all sorts of attacks on gun rights American enjoy today.

The U.S. government under this treaty GAINS POWER to manage firearms almost any way it would like to, without checks and balances.

Once signed, many of the restrictions and government intrusions become MANDATORY, and the full Congress, already cut out of ratification (only the Senate approves treaties) would be cut out of the implementation process entirely.

The CIFTA Treaty is only the Inter-American gun treaty. Once the administration signs it, it would only be a matter of time before a pan-European treaty with even more draconian restrictions is passed.

Why fight the NRA and pro gun Americans when you can more easily sign treaties that carry the weight of the U.S. Constitution?

Don't be gullible and do not assume he will ever let us see it coming when they do the deed. It may not even look like AWB. May not look like any kind of gun or ammo control.
Assume he will use every administrative body and tool available to him and his cronys.
He will use bait and switch on the bluedog dems as sideways as they may be.
