This was my wife's first NRAAM. She really enjoyed it. She got to handle a lot of different pistols. With her small hands and arthritis, it was illuminating the difference in her perception of degree of difficulty in racking various slides, trigger pull, and grip handle comfort. She found some 9mm easier than some .380s. She did not care for some triggers that are highly regarded by some. Interestingly, she really liked the trigger on the Kimber K6s revolver

my wife has very small hands also and that was her favorite revolver at the show.

I thought the show was great. We stayed at the Seelbach Hilton right by 4th street live so food and drinks were very close and only a couple blocks from the shuttle pick up. Saw a few famous industry people and almost literally ran into Donald JR. Thought it was pretty cool that he was just walking around with his wife enjoying the show. Finally got to meet Alan and bought a Spitfire AR.
Unfortunately I didn't win a Daniel Defense rifle but I got a hat.

Out of the box the Kimber K6s really impressed me!

My daughter and I went Saturday. Had great time. Bought p320 magazines at Sig for $30 each. When waiting in line one black shirted Sig big wigs gave my daughter two free tee shirts. Made her day. Bought holsters for my p30sk and glock 43. Taked to gunny. Very nice guy. Played with the new HK sp89. Bought some stuff from Glock and had a great 3.5 hour drive home as my daughter was playing with all the free stuff people gave her. It was funny every time I turned around some one was handing her stuff. Total of 5 shirts and all kinds of neat stuff. Glad we got a parking place right by the south b door because we kept putting stuff into the trunk all day. The new mp 45 shield felt great in the hand.

Took the wife and daughter today. Crowd wasn't too shabby, but manageable. Didn't win a DD rifle either. Really enjoyed several of the displays, but spent the longest time in the CZ booth coon fingering every thing they had there. I am determined to own a Scorpion carbine now, that thing was cool. Really liked looking at the classics line up at the S&W display, and about went gaga over the M1A display over in the collectors area. Came home with about 50 lbs of free propaganda, hats, t shirts etc. Only famous people I saw were Athena Lee and Larry Vickers. My wife liked the PK380 at the Walther booth.

How many of you saw this, and cried quietly inside? How can people shoot themselves at gun shops? Right here is your answer. They don't respect guns.

I saw this 1,000 times if not more. 2 people tried to use my head as a backstop. I need a hat that reads "Not a Safe Direction".

Went Sunday. Had a good time. There was a crowd, but far from packed, moved about pretty easily from booth to booth.

Enjoyed the Springfield Armory booth, Kimber, S&W, FN, etc. Handled a lot of firearms, got a pile of literature and freebies. Got my picture taken at the Winchester display with the lady who found the old rifle leaning against a tree in the National Park. You had to wonder what happened to the guy who left his Winchester rifle leaning up against a tree all those many years ago......

I especially like the historical firearms on display near the rear of the hall, especially the Confederate revolvers being shown by Cowan's Auction House.

My personal favorite at the collectors section was, of course, "The American Thompson Association" 100 years of the Thompson. And watch for me on Gun Guru's coming up later this year. Met Ted Nugent and listened to him on Cam & Company show, R. Lee Ermey (The Gunny), Sammy Davis(MOH recipient), Pigman, the Miculek family, Richard Childress, Michelle Bachmann, and Tera Kyle. Others, but still in sensory overload.

What a weekend. I hope no one thought I was rude, but Friday, and Saturday were one big blur. I was talking, and selling faster than Mae (wife/accountant/cashier) could ring people out which is a great thing. Sunday was a little more lax.

I didn't get a chance to see anything, but the one thing I thought was interesting was one company sent their salesman who was preaching the gospel of "vote Clinton". I guess if I was sending a salesman to NRA, I would pick someone with a Republican mindset, or at least the common sense to keep it to himslelf, but that's just me.

I got my booth selected, and hotels booked for Atlanta next year, and Streamlight (next to me) had a pretty good deal on some flashlights, so I bought one.

How many shootings in LVille this weekend?

I am sure all the Anti's had their bloomers in a twist the week before predicting the upcoming violence for the weekend. After all, it was a Gun Show, they probably handing out free guns no background checks at many of the vendor booths. Plus tens of thousands of Neanderthals walking around LVille with guns strapped to their hips. I missed the reporting of mass shootings or maybe I missed the Anti's apology for being wrong in their predictions.

Disappointed I was not able to attend this year.

I was also impressed with the Kimber, but the sticker shock quickly brought me down to earth. There was a kid (early teen) with his father standing by, handling the revolver while I waited my turn. He kept pulling the trigger as fast as he could. When he got done, he opened the cylinder and flipped it closed one-handed. I let him know that that was only for the movies and was hard on a revolver. He looked at me like I was stupid. Oh well.

Will you share the name of the company with us?

Well I accidently lost my grip and let a Les Baer 1911 slam shut. Boy are those things tight and sprung hard. I apologized. But at least I didn't let my 12 year old son slam the revolver shut.

Couldn't keep the kid away from the revolvers. He liked those best.

I noticed when i was in close proximity to some booths it liken the sound of triggers being pulled to that of slot machines on the casino floor in Vegas...maybe it's a you had to be there.

Not at all. We stopped by twice to say HI and both times you had a huge crowd gathered around. I'm glad you did good business!
