My Cure for ADHD was the death stare from my father. If that didn't work, he went to plan B. He reached for his belt, the slack came out the buckle, I ran, he caught me, belt came off, ass turned cherry red, no more ADHD.

As a matter of fact, my dad only had to whoop me a handful of times. After that, he'd reach for his belt and that was all it took.

Now that I'm a father with an ADHD "diagnosed" child not of my blood, I find myself struggling to not welt her butt with fine leather. It doesn't take much more than me threatening to do so to get her to straighten up though! :D

(Thumbs Down for the jackass that invented time-out and those who still think it works. :twocents:)
