I have had several emails about ammo for the Grease Gun, The Thompson and the Sten. In reality they are very NON-picky guns. I have never shot steel cases out of them BUT you are welcome to try and I don't think they will have any issues with them.

I do ask that no reloads (commercial or handloads) be shot in them and if I catch them in a box being passed off as factory loads the shooter will be done with my guns for the day.

In the past I have brought up to a dozen machineguns and silenced guns to NFA day, but after spending about 20 hours cleaning guns and equipment last year after the monsoon rains, I have scaled back this year. Mostly because I know for a fact that I will not have time to dedicate working or cleaning them between my four jobs and family life.

So, hopefully I can still show you a good time with some true American Icon (and a brit) MG's!

Feel free to post up or email me if any of you have specific questions.

I would shoot the brass case stuff first. Steel doesn't have as good of a chamber seal. The brass could expand into the dirty chamber and give extraction problems.

Bridge work -- Starts after NFA Weekend

Just a heads-up to those coming from the north. As you get within a couple of miles of my place, you'll see signs on the road saying that the road is closed for bridge work. The little letters stuck on the sign clarify that the closing is from October 1 to October 26. So you're good to go!

    The rains have stopped.
The forecast for the weekend is nearly 'perfect'!
The range has been set up and is looking good.
The refrigerator is full of smoked and grilled meat.

It's time for NFA Day! :rockwoot: :ingo: :ar15:

    Everyone please drive safely. :)
